Mid caps are usually overlooked by the mass media. This can have advantages as well as they are not chased by speculators that run the price to rediculous levels ,thqat can not be sustained.
Prices of these mid-caps move up on actual peformance of the underlying stock and their eventual ability to pay decent dividends.
